Eloise White creates vessels using traditional hand-building techniques. The forms are created out of raw slabs of clay and coiling processes, leaving irregularities and natural pigments on the surface of the vessel. For White, this is an important aesthetic, as it unapologetically conveys the close relationship between the material, the form and its maker.

“I am drawn to creating vessels that are made from the earth and sculpted by my hands. I find this process endlessly poetic as vessels have been made this way from clay, since the beginning of time.”
